If your maplight switch is not working very well, here is something that may help you restore the switch and keep you from having to shell out those $$$$ for another maplight assembly that also may have a bad switch. The procedure is outlined below. Just be patient and careful. Hopefully your switch operation will be restored to it's factory best. The maplight switch is attached to the metal housing with two small phillips head screws. You don't even have to worry about the harness connections. They will just stay with the back of the switch as you do this. Good luck.
